A rare panoramic view made with a Kodak camera. Two men and a woman are posing before the French monument at Waterloo. This sculpture was made by Jean-Léon Gérôme and depicts "L'Aigle Blessé".
The German Emperor and Empress are visiting Europe with the automobile of Philippe VIII duc d’Orléans. They went to see many places like Waterloo, Leuven, Namur, France, Sicily, ... during this 'Grand Tour'.
Provenance: from a set of panoramic and unpublished views retracing the life and journeys in the automobile of Philippe VIII duke of Orléans across Europe.
