Victor Plumier: woman in traditional French clothes, ca. 1855
A rare daguerreotype (4th plate) from the Belgian photographer Victor Plumier, He was located in Paris: Rue Vivienne 36. His brother Alphonse Plumier worked in Brussels and Liège.
Nicely colored portrait, a speciality of V. Plumier. The older woman wears traditional French rural clothes.
The photographer's name and address is on the back. With original hanging ring.
