An unusual but lovely portrait. The little girl, Tamara Vassilievna Tchirkovskaia, is only 10 months old when photographed. The hand of an unknown person (a hidden mother 😉) holds the head of Tamara still. The portrait comes from a Russian aristocratic family, photographed a few years before the revolution.

The POP print is in used but good condition. Pated on a cabinet card mount without any photographer's imprint. Only mentioning "Cabinet Portrait" and "Souvenir PC" in gilt lettering. Named and dated (31 October 1906) on the verso in an unknown hand.
