Beatlemania!

A very nice image of a Beatles fan enjoying a show at the MET Stadium, August 21, 1965 in Bloomington.
At the peak of American Beatlemania, they played a mixture of outdoor stadiums and indoor arenas, with historic concerts at Shea Stadium and the Hollywood Bowl. The Beatles played for just 30 minutes at each show. After the tour's conclusion, the Beatles took a six-week break before reconvening in mid-October to record the album Rubber Soul.

The vintage press photograph was used several times. The first time on August 26, shortly after the show. And later in February 1984 and August 1990. Print is in used but good condition, twee small pinholes in the upper left corner. Titled and dated on the verso.

gelatine silver print ca. 23,4 x 19 cm
