Feyen: man posing with umbrella, Paris ca. 1860
Jacques Eugène Feyen (1815-1908) made this unique portrait of a young man posing with a dark umbrella. It's rare to see items like this one in early photographs. This umbrella is used as a beautiful part of a funny composition.
Feyen started his photographic activities in 1851 and stopped them in 1866. Rue de la Paix in Paris was his last address.
Name written in fountain pen on the verso.
