Félix Nadar: self-portrait, Paris ca. 1860
A typical self-portrait of Félix Tournachon, better known as Nadar. This is a good example of his many self-portraits. He poses self-confidently, leaning on a table in the studio. His glasses hang around his neck. A dark bow tie and handkerchief in the breast pocket give the portrait a flamboyant atmosphere.
Albumen print in good condition with only small traces of use and age. The cdv card with iconic letter "N" and red border is untrimmed and in good condition. A nice piece of photographic history!
