This rare carte de visite is attributed to Félix-Jacques Antoine Moulin. The striped blanket and the hay in the background can be found on other images by him.

The woman is holding a piece of fruit, like a pear. The man holds a glass of wine. On the small table some grapes, bread and a bottle near a filled glass of red wine. The woman's hat with flowers can be seen in the background.

In the lower part of the image there is a dark stripe visible. Could be an early copy image from a stereo daguerreotype?
