Davis & Severn: a kid's leg, Chicago ca. 1865
A very unusual image of a child's leg. The young child is sitting on a chair and has the trouser leg rolled up to show his leg and foot. The pants have stitching that can also be seen on Zouave uniforms. There is no indication why this unusual image was made.
Name and address of the photographers written on the verso. "Zouave boy? Injured leg" written in a later hand. CDV with normal traces of use and age.
