Photocollage by Bohumil Stepan (1913-1985) from the Family Album of Oddities (1971). His work is inspired by Dada and Surrealism and is often satirical.

“Sister Amalie could not marry because she had a square head. But with a tablecloth she looked very respectable. A young man even shot himself because of her (when she removed the tablecloth).”

This silver gelatine print on mat Agfa-Brovira photo paper is an early reproduction made by the artist himself.
Print is in very good condition.
