Sold out

A beautiful cyanotype photogram of a wild carrot, attributed to Miss L. Richardson, Dorchester, Massachusetts, her name was on some other prints from the same provenance. These cyanotypes were printed ca. 1900.
This gem reminds us of the work Anna Atkins made in the 1840s with John Herschel's invention.

Titled on the verso in pencil: "Wild Carrot."
ca. 12,7 cm x 10 cm (24 x 30 mat)

The two holes on far left from original binding, some pinholes on the top. Nice bold blue color.
