Three men are looking for someone in the bushes somewhere in Surrey. An harmonious and elegant composition with almost surrealistic quality. Stamped 'Trampus' and 'Lynx' on the verso.
Text on the verso:
"Bloodhounds in hunt for two men, following an attack on a police constable. P.C. Forehead, who was attacked by two suspected housebreakers and battered unconscious, is now in the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guilford, and is making a good recovery from his injuries. A large force of police , on foot and in motorcars have searched the country for miles around, but the two men have x not yet been found. The attack on the constable was made at east Horsley, Surret."
